Hawaiian Honeymoon

We had an amazing honeymoon in Hawaii. We went in August. It was short but sweet. We did everything on our list. Polynisian Culteral Center, Scuba Diving, Parasailing, Pearl Harbor, Flight Museum, swimming in the beautiful ocean, and of course, shopping at the International Market Place.

Parasailing. Jack absolutely LOVED this!!!

I, however, got very sick and threw up after.

At the Polynisian Culteral Center. This place was amazing!!
Right before we went scuba diving. This is at Hanauma Bay.
After scuba diving. This was one of the highlights of my trip. I loved every second of swimming with the fishies. I can't wait to go again.

This is our rental car. We had so much fun in it.

Triston's First Trip to CANADA!

We went to Canada to visit Jack's Grandma and Aunts up there. This was the first time Triston met his Grandma James. And he loved her so much!
On our way up we stopped in Helena to eat and let Triston run around. Jack saw his dream vehicle. This suburban with 5 doors on both sides.

Triston and Uncle Lee and cousin Dillon.

Jack, Cousin Lilly, and Triston. These two had a lot of fun together.

Grandma James and Triston. He loves her.

Jordy and Jonie's twin girls. Triston loved these little angels.

Camie and Caisie and Triston. I know I'm spelling their names wrong.

We had to wake Grandma up to say good bye before we left.

Triston being a cheese in a restaurant in Twin Falls on our way home.

4th of July

We went to Susanville for the 4th of July to visit my family. My brother and his family came up from Texas and we had a huge party!

Triston Loved playing in the sand at the Lake.

Jack, my brother Justin and my dad having a white T-shirt contest.

The kids playing in the sand again. Different Lake, different day.

Justin and Triston.

Brandon and Alex built a really cool Sand Castle and right before we left they let the kids destroy it.

Into Everything!

Triston has discovered that he can get into everything even when we are standing right there.

Spaghetti face.

Jack and I were sitting at the table not even a foot away from him when he did this. We knew he had the yogurt, but we didn't realize he had broken it open. He made a royal mess and the floor was sticky for days. But it was so cute!

He has the yogurt cup in his mouth like a little puppy while he splashes it all over.

In the trash can.

He pulled a plate of my visiting teaching cookies off the table and ate them. We just laughed.

The Boys

We went to the Motorcycle Jamboree with my sister and brother-in-law and Jack loved this bike.

We saw this, it's a six speed engine that makes margaritas. It was really loud, Jack liked this too.
Jared and Wayne came to help us with a Luau Pig. We had a lot of fun.

Birthday and Stuff

So I realized as I looked at everyone else's blog that I haven't posted in a while.
On Triston's actual birthday we were traveleing to Salt Lake to go to my nephew's endowment.

So Grandma Shelley gave him his birthday presents in the hotel room that night.
The next day Triston got to visit cousin Titan, Aunt Julie and Grandma Riley while I went to the temple with my family.

We celebrated Triston's birthday a couple days later at my sister's house where we had a lot of family visiting from out of town.

He had pumpkin pie for his cake, (his favorite) and he got it everywhere.

DONE!!!

Ouchy Ouchy

Triston stuck his hand in between the broiler drawer of the oven and the door of the oven while the oven was on. It was so sad. This is right after, before we went to the hospital.

Back side of hand. The blisters looked about 10 times worse than this a couple days later.
We put cold water on a highchair tray with ice. We thought he was doing ok, but then he would take his hand out of the water and hold it up to me or Jack and just cry and then put it back in the water. He kept doing this and it was like he was saying "Do Something!" That's when we decided to take him to ER.
Home from the hospital and all bandaged up.

He felt so much better with some pain medicine and burn cream on his hand.
Triston wouldn't stop biting the gauze so we have to keep a sock over it.
This is the blister the next day.

Side view. You can see how tall they are.
On Wednesday Triston got the gauze off his hand while in his crib and bit the blister and popped it. So now we have to take extra care of it.

This little boy is such a trooper. He doesn't let this slow him down one bit. He is still walking all and crawling all over the palce and playing like before. It doesn't seem to hurt him, he just gets annoyed with the sock.
We have an appointment to see another doctor, a surgeon to make sure everything is healing properly.
